GRANULAR ROCK PHOSPHATE (GRP)

Jerch Farmington Granular Rock Phosphate is a natural, slow-release source of phosphorus derived from sedimentary phosphate rock. Unlike water-soluble P fertilizers, GRP contains phosphorus primarily in the form of tricalcium phosphate “Ca3(PO4)2”. In acidic soils “pH < 5.5", common across Ghana’s Forest and Savannah zones, soil acids gradually solubilize the phosphate, releasing plant-available H2PO4- ions over an extended period. The granular form improves handling, reduces dust, and ensures uniform field application.

NPK 20-10-10 + 3MgO + 3S

Jerch Farmington NPK 20-10-10 + 3MgO + 3S is a high-nitrogen compound fertilizer designed for maximum vegetative growth and biomass production.   Guaranteed Analysis: 20% N – 10% P2O5 – 10% K2O + 3% MgO + 3% S   This 2:1:1 NPK ratio provides a dominant nitrogen supply to drive protein synthesis, chlorophyll formation, and rapid cell division. The inclusion of Phosphorus supports energy transfer and root establishment, while Potassium ensures nutrient transport and turgor maintenance. The addition of Magnesium and Sulfur enhances photosynthetic efficiency and enzyme activity, supporting chlorophyll synthesis, protein formation, nutrient metabolism, and overall plant growth and development.

UREA 46:0:0

Urea 46-0-0 is the most concentrated solid nitrogenous fertilizer commercially available, containing 46% Nitrogen “N” in the amide “CO(NH2)2” form.   Upon soil application, urea undergoes rapid enzymatic hydrolysis by soil urease to form ammonium carbonate. This subsequently converts to plant-available ammonium “NH4+” and then to nitrate “NO3-” via nitrification. This two-step process provides both an immediate and sustained nitrogen supply, aligning with critical crop demand periods.   The high N concentration per unit weight makes Urea the most cost-effective and logistically efficient
SOA

SULPHATE OF AMMONIA (SOA)

Jerch Farmington Sulphate of Ammonia “SOA” is a straight fertilizer that supplies two essential nutrients: Nitrogen and Sulfur.Guaranteed Analysis: 21% N + 24% S The nitrogen in SOA is in the ammonium “NH4+” form, which is stable in soil and less prone to leaching than nitrate. It is also a physiological acid fertilizer that helps to lower soil pH. The high sulfur content is in the readily available sulfate “SO4-2” form, making it ideal for sulfur-deficient soils and sulfur-demanding crops
